2002 Aerosol Art

Aerosol Art Banners was the first project of the newly formed Bendigo youth Arts Network. The network, facilitated by Bendigo-Loddon Primary Care Partnership & City of Greater Bendigo, Cultural Development & Events has been established to ensure a coordinated approach to arts in health and youth services. 12 young people, clients from a range of youth agencies in Bendigo (Future Connections, Bendigo Community Health Services, St Lukes, Richmond Fellowship, Salvation Army) attended a series of hands-on workshops in the styles, techniques and design development of aerosol art. A graffiti artist from Melbourne was employed to facilitate the workshops and assist with the creation of the art banners.
