2007 Growing a Fringe

The View Street Arts Precinct came alive from September 28th to September 30th 2007 with the Growing a Fringe Youth Arts Festival featuring short films, plays, animations and performances by local young people. A number of workshops are took place with young people from a number of community groups and organizations to create work for the festival. The groups include Eaglehawk Secondary College, Doxa School, YSAS, St Lukes, East Loddon P12 School, Long Gully Neighborhood Centre and Createability Events Network. Funding through Vic Health's Community Arts Participation Scheme and School Focused Youth Services assisted Bendigo Youth Arts Network to present this years festival.
